In 1952, Josephine Gerlock opened her Valdosta dance studio based on the philosophy of loving children first, then teaching them to dance. Gerlock Dance Studio remains true to this guiding principle over 70 years later. We believe there is nothing more rewarding than seeing our students grow as individuals, gain confidence, and learn life skills that last beyond their years at our studio. From their first class in our studio to their final bow as seniors, we strive to make children feel welcome and loved all the years they dance at Gerlock Dance Studio.
